What is the best monk elite? I have been wondering which one is the best to use. I am currently using Shield of Regeneration. What do you all think?

There is no best monk elite. It depends on your monk build : healing, protecting or smiting ...etc...

It all depends on what kind of build you want your monk to run. If you post your build and tell us what you will be using it for (pve, pvp, gvg, farming, etc) we can help you.

Shield of Regeneration is somewhat useful. I prefer Martyr, Shield of Deflection or Word of Healing. Those are my top 3 for monk elites. Spellbreaker can't be beat in some areas. (UW runs anyone?

) If you seek energy management, Offering of Blood is still amazing. Alternatively, you can go with Mantra of Recall or Energy Drain.

Sorry for not giving my build. I am a healer / protector. I use "heal other", "heal party", "protective hands", "remove hex", "Shield of Regeneration", "Healing Breeze", "Signet of Capture", and some sort of ressurect spell. Is shield of regen best for this build?

You have no energy management in there. I'd go change 2nds to /N or /Me and use one of the energy elites suggested above. Also, I'd drop the prot and go all heal, keeping remove hex or holy veil for hex removal.

I found that you can actually heal more if you just use one attribute and your primary attribute(divine favor)

But for your build there...
-If your useing healing breeze sheild of regen is not the best. I recomend taking out heal other and trade in Mend ailment and then take Sheild of regen and trade it for Word of healing. It would be much more energy efficent. I also recomend tradeing hands for orison. You resurrection spell(unless you plan on resing in battle) should always be rebirth incase you have to run and comeback and sneak in to ressurect.

But as I said before I useually use all prot or all heal.

Heal build:

Attributes: Healing:12(+3+1)=16
Divine: 12(+1)= 13

Divine Boon ,Healing Breeze, Orison of Healing, Word Of Healing(elite), Heal Party, Signet of Divotion, Capture Signet, and Rebirth.

Prot Build:

Attributes: Protection:12(+3+1)=16
Divine:12(+1)=13

Blessed aura, Reversal of Fortune, Sheilding hands, Aegis, Signet of Divotion, Sheild of Regeneration, Capture Signet, and Rebirth.

Your weapon should have a 20% enchant mod. You get a 21 second Sheild of regen. also if you trade in Prot Spirit for Cap sig Protective spirit lasts 36 seconds!

Also when you know theres no new skills to cap be sure to kick that cap sig right out of there and trade soemthing better in for it!

Other Good Elites:
Offering of blood could be used for more energy if you change your secondary to necro. Put 10 on Blood.
Mantra of Recall is another good elite for energy. Just put 10 on Inspiration.

As brother had said, I would stick to either Protection or Healing and not both.

I currently run a Boon Healer monk when time calls for it. My personal favorite with this build is Word of Healing. And yes, it would be good to switch to mesmer secondary for energy management skills.

my build:
Healing Touch, Orison of Healing, Word of Healing, [Remove Hex or Mend Condition], [If other was remove hex then either Mend Condition or Arcane Echo. If other was Mend Condition then either Remove Hex or Arcane Echo], Energy Tap [or Inspired Hex if needed], Divine Boon, Rebirth

Healing: max
Divine: max
Inspiration: rest

Rebirth is the best res spell imo unless you are a bonder (which in this build you are not).

If you use arcane echo in my build, remember that you can always echo my energy management spell (which is what I usually do).
